Community-Inspired, Community-Driven, Community-Organized
The Inner G Nonprofit Organization is designed to build community through its educational programming, creative expression of spirit & events for social and emotional wellness. We are founded on three pillars: EDUCATION, EMPOWERMENT & ENGAGEMENT. At its core, The Inner G is a headquarters for people to see themselves, learn about the rich heritage of the Black experience and view the organization as a beacon of what it means to experience a life of one’s best possibilities - their INNER GREATNESS!
Each pillar can only reach its actual capacity with SUPPORT. The Inner G has already begun one of its educational programs, THE COOL SCHOOL - a STEAM practice approach through cultural and relevant teaching and activities.
Our Objectives:
Education
Liberate Black children and adults with cultural responsive teaching & engagement.
Empower
Invigorate creative expression of the spirits, ancestral reverence, earth stewardship and community archiving.
Engagement
Create space for community to share their truth rooted in mental, emotional and social wellness.
Our Vision
Like our Mission, our Vision is ambitious. It describes what we believe to be a future we can help create - one which has significant improvements in the Black & Brown community.
